Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la implementación de estrategias de gestión sostenible y de responsabilidad social en los cultivos de maíz de San Miguel de Briceño. La investigación se llevó a cabo utilizando un enfoque mixto que incluyó tanto métodos cualitativos como cuantitativos, a través de encuestas a 20 agricultores locales los resultados fueron procesados y analizados mediante el software estadístico SPSS, lo que permitió determinar la viabilidad y aceptación de prácticas sostenibles como la rotación de cultivos y el uso de bio fertilizantes y la reducción de pesticidas químicos, el estudio identificó que aunque existe un conocimiento básico sobre la sostenibilidad entre los agricultores aún hay una falta de capacitación en áreas clave. Las aplicación de buenas prácticas sostenibles fue bien recibida por la mayoría de los participantes quienes manifestaron su interés en mejorar la eficiencia en el uso de recursos naturales para promover la responsabilidad social en sus prácticas agrícolas, el desarrollo de esta propuesta pretende no solo mejorar la productividad y la conservación de los recursos naturales sino también fomentar un impacto positivo en las condiciones laborales de los agricultores y en el bienestar de la comunidad local contribuyendo al desarrollo sostenible de la región.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the implementation of sustainable management and social responsibility strategies in corn crops in San Miguel de Briceño. The research was conducted using a mixed approach that included both qualitative and quantitative methods. Through surveys of 20 local farmers, the results were processed and analyzed using SPSS statistical software. This allowed determining the feasibility and acceptance of sustainable practices such as crop rotation, the use of biofertilizers, and the reduction of chemical pesticides. The study identified that although there is basic knowledge about sustainability among farmers, there is still a lack of training in key areas. The implementation of good sustainable practices was welcomed by the majority of participants, who expressed interest in improving the efficiency of natural resource use to promote social responsibility in their agricultural practices. The development of this proposal aims not only to improve productivity and the conservation of natural resources but also to foster a positive impact on farmers’ working conditions and the well-being of the local community, contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
